I have a favorite vacation place

It puts a smile on my face.

It has huge lakes long and wide

Where millions of fish love to hide.

With hat and fishing pole in hand

We push our boat away from land.

We cast and reel and cast a lot

Until we finally hit the jackpot.

We put every fish in the live well

Until our boat starts to smell.

As we start to drive away

I think about my favorite spot to stay.

And as our boat starts to race

Minnesota really is the place.
